Yosemite

Next up after Sequoia National Park was one of the National Park System's heavy hitters- Yosemite. We went on a Thursday before the busy season had truly started and were amazed by both the sights and the crowds. And although the crowds were sometimes difficult to navigate, it was striking how international they were- Asian, Mexican, European, Indian and more had all merged to see the grandeur. .
This is not a postcard! It is the view after emerging from the Mountain tunnel!

Next we hiked to the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

We took a hike on the Mist Trail to see the power of the water and the base of Vernal Falls.

And.... Trying to find the path less traveled, we hiked a bit and found this beautiful patch of river near the Wawona Visitor Center.

Sending love and light as we continue to trek west,
Sarah
