The Redwood Forest

Yesterday we went to the Redwood Forest. We found a cool trail. We started walking down it and we saw lots of banana slugs.

We ate some yummy salmon berries. They were growing all over the place.

 

Lily and I really wanted to eat a ton but mom said no. 

 Lilye and I loved to climb up into the big trees with holes in the middle.

The weather was wet, cool and humid. We walked along and saw the tallest tree.

We kept on walking and on long twirly vines we saw big pods. I'm still wondering what they are. We got back to the RV

and saw a ton of elk in a nearby meadow.

 

I thought today was a great day.
