We recently visited the Petrified National Forest. It was beautiful. There were petrified logs,
Scenic overlooks,
Amazing petroglyphs,
(By the way, this wasn't an actual petroglyph, but it was my drawing of my favorite one we saw)
We arrived at sunset so we got to see these over 200 million year old trees in the best light.
